Hi, I’m Caroline,
My journey into the health and wellness arena began almost 20 years ago on my return from a 3-year posting in Shanghai. Qualifying as a remedial and pregnancy massage therapist I have since continued studies into how we maintain wellbeing on a mental, physical, and spiritual level by completing 3 years counselling/coaching study.
In addition, I hold a Bachelor’s degree majoring in English Literature/Creative Writing and a Diploma in Marketing.
A registered Bowen and massage therapist, I am committed to helping others feel the best they can, to make each day a good day, whether that’s by alleviating pain and ongoing discomfort, or allowing our bodies to heal through relaxation and its intrinsic ability to rest and repair. I am also an accredited McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release practitioner which can often compliment and complete your overall health and wellness journey.
When not in the clinic, you’ll find me outdoors, or being active in some way. I love hiking with friends, swimming and twisting into strange shapes at the yoga studio. Other days I volunteer at 3rd Space homeless drop-in centre in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane; plus I am Secretary on the Brisbane Water Polo committee, a sport I have watched my two sons play both home and overseas.
Moving to Australia from the UK over 30 years ago, I still enjoy travelling, but with the Covid era, my dream to spend a summer in Italy staring at works of the great painters and sculptors, soaking up the atmosphere inside ancient architecture, eating pizza and drinking prosecco at a side street table watching passers-by currently remains a dream.
I prefer dark chocolate to milk, like my coffee with a dash of cream, and always dunk my digestive biscuit into a hot cup of tea. As a home-body, I love nothing better than sitting around the kitchen table with friends eating good food.
Thank you for being here.
